Hotels Near Taipei International Convention Center: Review

The Taipei International Convention Center was established in 1989. This 6 story building is where the 15th National Congress of Kuomintang was held, one of the biggest events that it has staged. The Taipei International Convention Center also hosts a number of business events, presentations and more.

The Taipei International Convention Center is located in the Xinyi District, which is often referred to as the government district of Taipei, as this is where many government offices are located, including the Mayor’s office. This is also a great place for tourists to visit, so if you do plan on seeing the Taipei International Convention Center, maybe if you have business there, then you should also checkout everything else that this district has to offer, not least of which is the Taipei 101. This iconic building is loved by the locals and visited by the majority of the tourists that pass through Taipei. It used to be the biggest building in the world and is currently the second biggest, beaten only by the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
