Zhongshan

The Zhongshan District is an important district in the city of Taipei, acting as the administrative area. The quarter of a million residents that call this district home enjoy some of the most recreational areas of any of the districts in Taipei. These include the Yingfeng Riverside Park, the Rongxing Garden Park, the Dajia Riverside Park and more. There are also some cultural hot spots, including the museum of Jade Art, the Zhongshan Fine Arts Park and the Suho Paper Memorial Museum. There is also a Fine Arts Museum in the Zhongshan District, which all art lovers should check out.

If you want to see Chinese architecture at its best during your stay in or visit to the Zhongshan District, then head for the National Revolutionary Martyrs’ Shrine, which is decorated in that stunning, breathtaking and iconic style that is exclusive to this part of the world. The building is dedicated to those who died turning China into the republic that it is today. The Zhongshan District also has a soccer stadium, but if you’re a fan of this global sport then you might need to search elsewhere. Taiwan don’t have a professional league and their national team, Chinese Taipei, aren’t very well ranked, so the stadium is typically used to stage concerts and other non-soccer events. There are some games, but it seems that Kylie Minogue has played here more often than the superstars of world football.

There is plenty to see in the Zhongshan District, which is why so many tourists choose to stay in one of the many hotels in this districts. If you plan on doing the same thing then the reviews below should help with that all-important choice.
